陈新建,特聘教授,博士生导师,国家重大基础研究计划(973)青年科学家项目首席科学家。2006年博士毕业于中国科学院自动化研究所,专业为模式识别与智能系统,并获得中国科学院院长优秀奖。博士毕业后加入微软亚洲研究院任副研究员,之后先后就职于美国常青藤大学宾夕法尼亚大学、美国国立卫生研究院、爱荷华大学,长期以来,一直从事医学图像处理方面的研究。20126月加入苏州大学电子工程系,任特聘教授。现为IEEE会员、多个国际顶级期刊的审稿人,截至目前共发表50多篇国际顶级期刊/会议论文,获得中国发明专利授权2项,受理2项,美国专利申请3项(1项已获授权);获得中国国家科学技术进步二等奖1项,北京市科学技术奖二等奖2项和信息产业部重大技术发明奖1项。

研究领域

主要研究方向:医学影像处理,模式识别,图像分析, 三维建模与可视化

致力于运用信息科学的基本理论和方法,与临床医学相结合,探索新方法和新技术,实现高效的疾病定量分析与可视化,降低疾病诊断与治疗的盲目性和不可靠性,为临床医生准确地做出诊断,快速地制定治疗方案和有效地评估治疗效果提供重要支持。
